During
the last years the Mapelli Foundry has concentrated its
investments in the automation, quality and  environmental
protection sectors.
Currently, the production is entrusted to ten presses, seven of
which are completely
automated interlocking
with industrial robots.
In the quality sector the investments were used to buy a
radioscopic system and equipment for three-dimensional
measurements for the constant monitoring of product quality beyond
that of the client's objectives.
At an environmental level, the Mapelli Foundry has a
recently built a smoke aspiration system that can exchange the air
four times an hour within the entire compound.
Currently the company is 1S0 9002 certificated.
