The
Mapelli Foundry was started in 1954 at Olginate; initially it
worked only in the production of brake drums and spare parts for
cars and motorcycles;
later it enlarged and included various sectors including textiles,
mechanical,
electrical and
illumination as
well as the production of motor cases
and tocasting
subject to pressure seals.
Currently there are more than 1700 articles in production with
weights for single pieces from 3 grams to a maximum of 6 kg.The press area of the company is made up of 10 units with
closing strength from 100 to 750 tons.The constant collaboration and work to better satisfy the
clients have resulted in supply relationships lasting over 30
years.
The constant research starting from the mould design allows us to
achieve by optimal use of the process the most varied solutions to
achieve the specific requirement.Since the stamps are shelved by client they are easily
found and sent to production.
