Fonderia Mapelli Srl was founded in Olginate in 1954 and initially operated solely in the production of brake jaws and spare parts for the automotive and motorcycle sectors; it then expanded to work in a variety of sectors from textile machinery, mechanical/motors, outboard engines, electrical and lighting, to the production of engine housings and castings subjected to pressure sealing, electrical/electronic devices, small household appliances, mechanical and pneumatic actuators, gas valves, grease pumps for vehicles, pistons for compressors, etc. ...

We currently operate on a covered area of 3,000 square meters within a total area of 4,000 square meters.

At present the production figures amount to over 1,700 items with individual parts weighing from a minimum of 3 grams to a maximum of 6 kilograms.

The press fleet currently consists in 10 units with closing capacities of from 100 to 750 tons.

The continued cooperation and commitment to achieve total customer satisfaction has allowed us to build relationships which have lasted for over forty years

Our external collaborators have over thirty years experience and enable us to offer finished parts which have undergone machining and/or surface treatments such as vibration barrel finishing with ceramic materials and plastics, ball polishing, shot blasting with steel grit in cylinders.

The continuous research performed from when the die is first designed allows us to exploit the process and develop the widest possible range of solutions to meet all specific needs.

We are certified to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 standards by Tüv Italia s.r.l. certificate n. 50 100 2941.
The quality system is supported by a management software with real time generation of production data with collection points for each individual manufacturing station. The collected data is archived to an IT support system.

The die shelves are divided by customer which means it is very easy to search for the items requested by production.
